Mrs Masterson has been a school leader for over 20 years in the UK, Qatar and Egypt. After graduating with a degree in Education and Psychology she intended to continue studying as an Educational Psychologist but fell in love with teaching after her first post as a Reception Teacher. She went on to teach in a Preparatory School in Somerset as an English teacher before moving to a senior Independent school to teach Psychology. She took on the role of assistant head and IT manager. This led her to a deputy head role and then into a headship of a leading day school in London. After a few years the travel bug hit, and she moved to Qatar as a Principal to lead and turn around three schools in a group. With many successful accreditations and a wealth of experience she moved to New Cairo British International School to lead the school out of covid and into its’ new era of success.
