Mrs Small has a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and gained Qualified Teacher Status from the University of Northumbria.  

She has always been passionate about facilitating the development of the whole child and supporting children to reach their full potential. She has been teaching and leading in outstanding schools for over 20 years, working in several different countries including the UK, The Philippines, Brazil and Egypt. She has had a number of positions in schools as a teacher, SEN Specialist, head of subject, head of campus and now Deputy Head Teacher Academics. 

Her role as Deputy Head enables her to work closely with the Head Teacher and all stakeholders to ensure NCBIS meets the needs of all children by giving them an enriching, creative education that equips them for life.
