Catherine is a graduate of the University of Manchester. She has been teaching for nearly 20 years, spending time in both UK and international schools as a teacher and leader. Most recently, Catherine has worked as an EAL Adviser for a local authority in the UK, advising schools and colleges on best practice, as well as leading a 2 year project for the Department for Education. 

For the last 3 year, Catherine was a teacher and senior leader at Wellington College in Hangzhou, China, where she helped open and establish the international school there as one of the top performing schools in the region, before joining NCBIS in September 2023.
