Mr. Jowett is a Bachelor of Education graduate from Westminster College, Oxford. He began his teaching journey in Oxfordshire and originally moved to teach at NCBIS in 2001. After, 14 years in Cairo and progressing into senior leadership roles, Mr. Jowett returned to the UK and spent 7 years as the Head of a leading London 11+ prep school. 

As part of a schools group he led developmental reviews in schools across England and provided school improvement support for leadership teams both in the UK and internationally. 

In 2022, Mr. Jowett decided to return to the international teaching circuit and to NCBIS as Head of Primary.
